New French dealer for CMC

Italian spider lift manufacturer CMC has confirmed Axeo All Road as its distributor for France. The move, finalised during Bauma, follows the acquisition of Axeo by Klaas All Road owner Deumin earlier this month.
The deal is sealed at Bauma (L-R) Mayeul Brasset of Axeo All Road, with Carlo Mastrogiacomo of CMC, Henri Lemoine of Klaas All Road/Deumin, along with Alessandro Mastrogiacomo and Federico Tomba of CMC

Axeo was founded by Hervé Coulon in 2003 and has specialised in the sale and rental of a wide range of access and lifting equipment, including CMC, Faraone, Ommelift, Almac, Oil & Steel and Maeda, as well as vacuum heads, spreader beams and the Ludwig Hook.

The merged business will be led by sales manager Mayeul Brasset, technical director Cédric Magnien and will be based along with Klaas All Road in Nanteuil-le-Haudouin near Paris with branches in Clermont-Ferrand, Le Mans, Joinville, Agen, Chambéry, Strasbourg and Salon-de-Provence.

In addition to CMC, Axeo All Road will handle Klaas truck and trailer mounted cranes, platforms and material elevators, Maeda spider and mini crawler cranes and some of the other Axeo product ranges. Its offer will include sales of new and used equipment as well as short and long term rental.

CMC sales manager Alessandro Mastrogiacomo said: “We are excited about this new partnership with Axeo All Road, a partner that shares our same values of quality, innovation and customer focus. This agreement is a fundamental step in our international growth. France is a strategic market for our sector, and, thanks to this collaboration, we will be able to offer reliable and cutting-edge solutions for working at height, strengthening our position in Europe.”

Henri Lemoine, Klaas All Road and Deumin chief executive added: “Welcoming CMC as a partner is a great opportunity to expand our offer and respond to the ever-changing needs of the French market. CMC aerial platforms stand out for their cutting-edge technology and safety, values that perfectly integrate with our corporate vision.”

As already mentioned Klaas and Axeo All Road are members of the Groupe Deumin which is managed by cousins Henri and Vincent Lemoine. The company was formed in 2020 by lifting equipment rental company Chastagner - the Klaas distributor in France since 2005.

Shortly after setting up, it set off on the acquisition trail, adding Yanmar dealer and Magni dealer Atout Négoces BTP in 2020, followed by JCB dealer JCB Grand Paris and Telip which offers a range of material lifts and handling equipment, in 2022. In 2023 it added self-erecting tower crane specialist, GP Mat and HLS Industrie which designs industrial lifting and systems for sectors such as aeronautics, airports, railways and industry. More recently it has acquired JCB Val de Loire and now Axeo.
