Berlin chancer

Spotted in Berlin this week a man working on concrete shoring without a care for his safety, and all while being supervised.

The photos have been sent in by a reader who spotted the man from a distance, on a site at Chauseestasse 88, Berlin.

He said: “This man was attaching tower crane straps with a six metre drop or more onto vertical metal rods. At least he was being 'supervised' the whole time....”

Spot the supervisor?

Sure enough it is hard to imagine such a callous disregard for safe work at height in a western country, let alone Germany. The photos need no further explanation from us, so we simply run all of them, without captions.
