Reedyk appoints UK dealer

Promax Access, the UK distributor for Dinolift and Platform Basket, has been appointed distributor for Dutch-based Reedyk Compact Cranes.

Reedyk has four models in its Compact Crane range, consisting of two mini spider type cranes, a pick&carry crane and a crane boom attachment designed for forklifts. Promax has taken delivery of an 11.4 tonne/metre C3412 articulated mini crane and a three tonne C4405 pick&carry crane to kick off the partnership.

With a lifting capacity of 4,250kg at two metres the C3412 has a 22.5 metre maximum tip height and a maximum radius of 19.5 metres, at which it can handle 135kg. Measuring less than a metre wide and 2.9 metres long it has a pick & carry capacity of 1,000kg. The lithium powered C4405 pick & carry crane offers a 3,000kg carry capacity and features 30 degrees slew. It is also available certified for use in ATEX Zone 2 environments.

A Reedyk C3412 articulated mini crane

Promax managing director Shaun Day said: “These cranes are unique and go beyond the capabilities of existing spider and mini cranes. The infinite outrigger positioning technology allows the cranes to be set up in normally inaccessible places and allows the maximum safe permissible working envelope over each individual stabiliser position.”
