Compact Genies for HWS

Dutch access rental company HWS has taken delivery of a number of Genie compact indoor aerial work platforms.

The order placed with local distributor HDW includes some models that are not often sold in Europe, it includes five 15ft GS1532 compact ‘elevator’ mini scissors, two units of the wider 20ft GS2046 which thanks to its 1.2 metre overall width offers a platform capacity of 544kg, two 40ft (14m) GS4047 narrow units which are currently only sold in Europe, and two push around mast type one person lifts, a 25ft AWP25s and a 30ft AWP30s.

This is the second order so far this year that HWS has placed with Genie, and while it has also purchased JLG and Mec platforms in the meantime, the company says that it is steadily increasing the number of Genie machines in its rental fleet.
