BT extends contract with Versalift
BT Fleet has extended its supply contract with Versalift for van-mounted aerial work platforms for a further two years. Versalift has supplied all of BT’s chassis and van-mounted platforms since 1998, shipping over 1000 units to date, mainly the Ford Transit van-mounted PE5 with a 12.9m working height platform.
More recently, BT has taken PE6 units from Versalift with 14.2m working height on a 5.2 tonnes Iveco Daily van. This combination not only provides greater working height but also has internal racking to carry tools and equipment to support BT’s Pole Erection Units.

A Versalift van mounted lift as supplied to BT
Earlier this year, BT ordered its first machines from Versalift’s Litetel range of truck-mounted platforms. BT’s fleet now features nine LT69NF, 23 metre working height platforms on DAF 7.5 tonnes trucks with 4.3metre wheelbase.
The new contract, with BT’s will help Versalift maintain its leadership of the UK van mounted lift market.
