Topless for Datem
Construction company Datem has taken delivery of the first Potain MCT 205 flat top tower crane in the Philippines.
Launched at Bauma China last year (see:
New Potain topless), the 10 tonne tower crane has been installed on the site of the Botanika Nature Residences development in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, where it will be used to lift formwork, rebar and precast concrete sections – weighing up to five tonnes – to heights of up to 59 metres. At its maximum jib length of 65 metre it can handle up to 1.75 tonnes.
Datem president Levy Espiritu, said: “All of our projects to-date have made use of specialised construction practices and technologies, such as the Potain MCT 205. These investments allow the safest possible working environments, greater efficiency in completing projects and directly benefit the overall standards of infrastructure delivered by the construction industry.”

We decided to purchase the Potain MCT 205 because it offers the latest technology and its topless design makes it suitable for many job sites.
