New cranes and telehandlers for ALL

ALL Erection and Crane Rental has purchased 20 new JLG telescopic telehandlers and nine Terex cranes for its fleet.

The telehandlers include 10 units of the 9,000lb/43ft G9-43A, five 10,000lb/55ft G10-55As and five 6,600lb/42ft G6-42As. All of the machines are equipped with enclosed cabs, side tilt carriages, foam filled tyres and work lights. The new models will operate out of the branches local to Cleveland, but will be available as needed to both rental and retail customers throughout ALL’s geographic footprint.

President Michael Liptak said: “These telelscopic forklifts will enhance ALL’s ability to meet customer demand. The machines were purchased to replace older models that were recently sold to retail customers, and demonstrate ALL’s commitment to ensuring the newest models are available in the rental fleet.”

The nine Terex cranes include two 127 tonne Explorer 5500 All Terrains, two 100 tonne HC 110s and two 150 tonne HC 165 crawler cranes - both equipped with heavy boom and pin-on third drum. Two four axle 100 tonne AC100/4L All Terrains and one 54 tonne T560 truck crane have also been purchased.

Most of the new cranes will be based at the company’s Cleveland headquarters to be utilised for bridgework throughout Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania and other surrounding states. The truck crane will work out of the company’s Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental branch in Wisconsin.

Mike Garrity, director of new crane sales said: “Terex is doing some really amazing things. We are excited about the drivability of the Explorer series, but also love that the units’ upper and lower assemblies are powered by a single engine. This innovation reduces operating costs by reducing weight, fuel, and redundancy of operating systems.”

ALL is also a Terex dealer in five states, including Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Wisconsin. “As a rental and sales leader, we love to expose customers to the brands for which we are a dealer — there’s no better advertising,” added Garrity.
