Groves and Manitowocs for Asiagroup
Singapore based crane rental company Asiagroup Leasing has ordered five Grove All Terrain cranes and two Manitowoc crawler cranes for its fleet.
The order comprises of three 300 tonne Grove GMK6300Ls, a 220 tonne GMK5220 and a 100 tonne GMK4100L as well as an 80 tonne Manitowoc 8500-1 and a 100 tonne 11000-1 crawler crane. The company has also announced it intends to order a further five Manitowoc crawler cranes. Set for delivery throughout the year, the new cranes will replace a number of older cranes in its fleet.
Jeffrey Poh, Asiagroup business development manager, said: “The GMK6300L was of particular interest to us because of the space constraints in the city area in Singapore. The mobile crane enables our customers to complete a job without using a fixed jib or luffing jib, saving space. The long boom is perfect for tower crane erection at high-rise construction sites. It also provides additional load capacity at a higher reach than other models in its class.”
