Crane boom down
The boom and jib of a large lattice crane has collapsed today in Santa Clara, California.
Few details are available at the moment, but the crane is working on a new multi storey car park near the Great America Highway, and it looks, from the photos we have been sent, as though something caused the boom to flip over the back of the crane.
We understand that there are no injuries on site. We will update when more information becomes available
