New sales director for Liebherr Maritime

Liebherr Maritime Cranes has promoted Gordon Clark to the post of sales director for offshore cranes.

Clark joined Liebherr as assistant managing director in 1991 and was responsible for Liebherr Sunderland Works. In 1997, he transferred to the mobile harbour cranes division, where he took on the responsibility for sales in the UK and Ireland and later on, English speaking Africa.

In 2007 he became divisional manager for Liebherr-Africa, before joining Liebherr-Middle East as its divisional manager for Middle East and Oceania.

Speaking on his new role he said: “We know that the offshore market is going through a tough time right now, but by working closely with our offshore partners we will find ways to overcome all of the challenges that we share.”
