Manitowoc adds in Burma

Two Elephant Asiagroup, a joint venture between Two Elephant and Asiagroup, has been appointed as Manitowoc and Grove distributor for Myanmar/Burma.

Singapore based crane rental company Asiagroup already handles Manitowoc crawler cranes in Malaysia, and will now - in partnership with rental company Two Elephant - distribute the full range of Grove and Manitowoc cranes throughout Myanmar. The joint venture will also become a Manitowoc Crane Care partner.

Asiagroup managing director Steven Poh, said: “We are delighted to expand our partnership with two of the industry’s leading crane brands. With our experience in selling and supporting cranes, combined with Two Elephant’s local expertise, we are certain we can offer customers a winning combination of high quality products backed by fast and reliable Manitowoc Crane Care support.”

Two Elephant Asiagroup currently employs more than 80 people in Myanmar and owns one of the largest crane and forklift rental fleets in the country, with a fleet of more than 40 Rough Terrain, All Terrain and crawler cranes.
