New Grove for Quinto
UK based rental company Quinto Crane and Plant Hire has taken delivery of a 100 tonne Grove GMK4100L All Terrain crane.
The four axle GMK4100L features a 60 metre main boom and can lift up to 1.6 tonnes to a radius of 48 metres. The crane also has a 10 to 17 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, and a chassis length of 10.7 metres. Other features include all-wheel steering and Megatrak suspension. The new Grove follows the purchase of a 300 tonne Grove GMK6300L last year.
Quinto owner Oliver Arnold, who took over the company in October 2014, said: “We have been impressed with the performance of the Grove GMK6300L and are confident in our latest purchase of the GMK4100L. Its long boom and highly versatile capabilities make it ideal for congested job sites.”

Quinto has a fleet of cranes and aerial work platforms operating from seven depots servicing East Anglia, the East Midlands and Greater London. It also has a demolition and dismantling division.

I hear that other major players in the hire business are worried about the level of competition Quingo are now offering. They shouldn't have laughed at the farmer who was going revolutionise crane hire and they never should have said, "stick to ploughing fields". You show em tiger.
