Terex 5600 for Wissel
German crane and access rental company Autokran Wissel has taken delivery of a new five axle 160 tonne Terex Explorer 5600 All Terrain crane.
The new crane features a seven section 68 metre main boom with a bi-fold swingaway and a 12 metre straight insert, offering a maximum tip height of 95 metres. Features include a single engine concept, start/stop function, wireless remote control, and Terex’s IC-1 control system.

The new crane is handed over
Aschaffenburg-based Wissel is in the process of upgrading its fleet with new more compact cranes, the new machine went straight to work as an assist crane during the erection of a large tower crane.
Owner Bernhard Wissel said: “We choose the Terex Explorer 5600 when we had to get a new All Terrain crane for its compact design and great maneuverability, which make it perfect for our needs. We have been carrying out lift operations of all kinds for over 50 years, from pianos to bridges.”
