One we missed

Two postmen had a near miss on August 8th when a section of a tower crane's walkway was dropped around 75 metres onto their van in the street below.

The two men, employees of Australia Post, were sitting in the van having a short break when the item crashed into the back of the van. The Jaso crane had been working on a development above a new metro station in Sydney’s central business district when it seems one of the slings holding the section failed causing it to fall into the street. The project is being managed by CPB Contractors, we have been given the name of the crane owner but have yet to confirm this.
The crane was being dismantled prior to the metro station opening

Australia Post said: “Two of our team members were inside the van at the time it was struck, thankfully both team members were uninjured and are safe and well. We will continue to provide support and are working with the relevant authorities to assist in their investigation.”
The local newscast video below shows more detail.
