New Hüffermann electric crane

German crane and access rental company Hüffermann Krandienst has launched a new version of its electric self-propelled loader crane for industrial applications.

Based on a 53 tonne/metre Palfinger PK 53002-SH, loader crane, the AC powered crane has been designed for work in the automotive and food industries as well as general confined areas. Compared t the first generation crane which went into service a year ago, this one is lighter, more compact, includes four wheel steer, has a higher drive speed and can raise the boom while travelling.

Maximum capacity is 10.5 tonnes and it can handle 2.5 tonnes at 16 metres radius. Maximum lift height is 25 metres. ATEX Explosion proof versions are available, while three different counterweight configurations are available in order to tailor the crane to suit various jobs and weight restrictions.
