Sterling body for L&A

UK guide wall and piling contractor L&A Reinforcements has taken delivery of a Sterling ‘Cheese wedge’ low profile plant body fitted with a Fassi F275 loader crane.

Mounted on a Scania R490 chassis, the unit will be used to transport construction machinery, piling equipment and site cabins between its location in Alnwick, Northumberland and the rest of the UK.

Simon Atkinson, L&A managing director, said: “The finished truck is both extremely versatile and of stunning appearance and the team at Sterling were very diligent in designing the body to our exact requirements and thinking outside of the box with innovative solutions to both satisfy our multiple needs, current H&S legislation and all UK and EEC environmental standards.”
