Big Barin for Germany

German construction equipment sales and rental company Freker Baumaschinen & Vermietung has taken delivery of a Barin AB 20/S underbridge inspection platform.

Mounted on a 32 tonne Scania G410 LB 8x2 HNB chassis, the bucket-type aerial work platform offers up to 23.2 metres of below ground reach and up to 19 metres of horizontal underbridge outreach with a 280kg platform capacity. As well as only requiring a single traffic lane to set up and work from, it is also able to clear bridge barriers with heights of up to 5.1 metres and has an above ground working height of 21 metres.

The new unit has been equipped with Barin’s modem system, which allows the manufacturer to remotely monitor and diagnose the electronics as well as adjust the working envelope in special circumstances.
