Vertex chief executive Dmitry Pankin said: “These machines are destined for the northeast of the Yamal Peninsula, which is notorious for frequent changes in temperature from plus 30 to minus 40 degrees Celsius. We have therefore adapted the new machines for operation in Arctic climatic conditions with a special ‘winter package’, which includes an engine heater, battery heater with subsequent charging, the upper control panel and LCD display on the bottom control panel”.
