Fatality at aerial lift workshops
A man died yesterday after he was crushed while working on an aerial lift at a Terex Services facility in Waco, Texas.
Police have named Terry Leon Lakey, 51, who works at the facility as the man who died, but have not given any further details, apart from stating that firefighters helped free him from the lift and that an investigation into exactly what happened is ongoing, but that no suspicious circumstances or foul play was involved.
The facility in Waco is run by Terex Services and includes repairs, refurbishment and full rebuilds of all types of aerial lifts - including utility and bucket trucks - and telehandlers, as well as carrying out mounting and customisation work on Terex Utilities platforms.
