Mammoet and Sankyu JV

Netherlands based heavy lift specialist Mammoet is to form a joint venture in Singapore with the plant engineering division of Sankyu of Japan.

The joint venture company is named Sankyu Mammoet Pte. Ltd and will specialise in heavy lifting, transport and engineering services and equipment for the East Asian region. Both companies have an equal stake in the venture.

The joint venture is said to combine the global reach of Mammoet with Sankyu’s specialised knowledge of the East Asian market. By working together the two companies hope to “capitalise on their experience in assisting clients in the heavy industries to optimise their construction processes and find innovative solutions to cut downtime and bring plants online swiftly, safely and efficiently”.
