Kobelco adds dealer in Vietnam

Kobelco Cranes South East Asia has appointed Vinh Phu General (Vitrac) as the official Kobelco crawler crane distributor for Vietnam.

Takemichi Hirakawa, Kobelco Cranes South East managing director and Vitrac chairman Nguyen Xuan Tuan formalised the agreement at a signing ceremony at Vitrac’s head office in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai.

Vitrac’s service team has been trained by Kobelco Cranes South Asia’s engineers in order to support new and existing Kobelco crawler crane customers in the country. It has also added an extensive spare parts holding. Kobelco Cranes set up a new global parts centre in Singapore earlier this year to support crane customers and dealers based specifically in the Asia Pacific region.
