A glimpse of LiftEx 2015
The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association is holding its annual conference this week in Liverpool, UK.
The event got off to a good start yesterday at the new Liverpool Exhibition Centre, at Albert Dock and runs through this evening.

The bright new exhibition centre proved to be a good location for the exhibitors attending the exhibition alongside the conference. The following is just a brief glimpse at some of the stands along with news from the event.

Nice to see efficient access equipment in use, at the entrance to the event - a podium and a Genie scissor lift
Among those attending were the Haigh brothers Gareth and Russell, owners of Leeds based transport and heavy lift company Cramscene, which recently ordered its first Liebherr All Terrain crane, a four axle 90 tonne LTM 1090-4.1 with Variobase outrigger system.The crane, is due to be delivered in March and follows a recent order for a two axle 40 tonne Tadano ATF40G-2 which will be delivered in January. The company now runs a fleet of eight Grove All Terrain cranes ranging from 35 to 300 tonnes.
