Fifth AC700 for Wiesbauer
German crane rental company Wiesbauer has taken delivery of its fifth 700 tonne Terex AC700.
“There is no other model on the market that compares to the AC 700,” said general manager Thomas Wiesbauer. “It is tremendously easy to transport, set up and operate and is simply a cut above any other crane in its capacity class. We also appreciate the lighter components which help with short set up times and only allowing a smaller assist crane to be used. In addition, the AC 700 has an excellent resale value. We were able to trade in an older version from 2007 without a problem.”

The AC 700 has already completed its first contracts. Immediately after the handover, the crane travelled to a large work site in order to help set up a tower crane and then on to a nuclear power plant to perform assembly work.
“We really like this crane’s flexibility," said Wiesbauer. "Thanks to its large capacity range - from 400 to 700 tonnes - we can use it to set up cranes and to take care of nuclear power plant, concrete, and bridge construction work.”
