Zaragoza forks and ladder
A reader in Zaragoza, Spain spotted a man using an ancient fork lift earlier this week, parked on a slope with a cheap domestic folding ladder/step ladder resting on the forks, providing just enough height to reach the edge of the roof.

Ladder and the forklift to reach the roof
Our inventive man has clearly gone over the top, which would have been tricky enough - depending on his age - but as many of us know coming back down is even riskier.
Note how our safety conscious man, worried that his old fork truck might roll backwards down the slope into the street while he was mid-ladder, took the precaution to put a half brick behind the rear wheel - that’ll do it for sure!.
The crazy thing is that there are at least two powered access rental companies on the same industrial estate. Definitely one for our Death Wish series

Not the extra attention to safety, in the form of a block under the rear wheel
