Star 10s for Highway

Belfast, Northern Ireland based access rental company Highway Plant has added at least four units of the new Haulotte Star 10 mast booms to its fleet.

The new Star 10, launched at Intermat in April, includes brushless direct drive AC wheel motors, integrated forklift slots, standard centralised automatic battery filling system, single joystick operation and reduced overall weight.

Highway’s business development manager Andy Owens said: “We are delighted to be the first Company in Ireland to order the new improved Star 10’s and are confident our customers will benefit from the additional features and benefits that the redesigned model has to offer.”

Founded in 1983, Highway Plant is an IPAF and CAP Training Centre, while director Julie Smyth is the current chairman of IPAF's Irish Council.
