Crawler crane over in Virginia
A crawler crane overturned yesterday on the site of a new elementary school in Manassas, Virginia.
The crane was lifting beams or trusses next to the steelwork for the three storey structure when something caused it to overturn sideways, From what we have been sent there are no signs of what might have caused the overturn.
We are told that no one was injured in the incident and that non-crane damage was surprisingly light, especially given that the boom came down onto the structure.
