New MD for Rosenbauer Schweiz

Erwin Müller is to step down as managing director of Rosenbauer Switzerland at the end of the year, after 12 years at the helm, he will be replaced by Roger Löhrer, 46 on January first.

Müller will remain with the company over the next 12 months in an advisory capacity to help with the transition.

Erwin Müller

Löhrer is an automotive and work place engineer and joins the company from TCS (Touring Club Schweiz) the largest Swiss automobile club where he was vice director responsible for, testing activities and responsible for various other reorganisation projects.

Prior to joining TCS in 2003 he spent two years with Moturis – a motor home rental business in San Leandro, California as general manager. Before that he worked with construction equipment distributor Robert Aebi as head of its road vehicle division. He started his career as a development engineer with Iveco motor research in Switzerland.

Rosenbauer Switzerland not only distributes its firefighting equipment, including rescue platforms, but its Sky-Up division has also been the official Isoli truck mounted lift dealer for the German speaking regions of Switzerland since mid-2014.
