New sales director for CTE

Italian aerial lift manufacturer CTE has appointed Marco Govoni as sales director effective this week.

Govoni, 48, joined the company with the Bizzocchi acquisition and has held several sales positions with the company since then, most recently as export manager, a role he has filled since 2012.

Govoni, replaces Giampaolo Piovan who has decided to focus more of his time developing the commercial activities of loader crane company Effer. However he will remain a CTE board director.

Chief executive Lorenzo Cipriani said: “The appointment of Marco Govoni as sales director is the natural consequence of his excellent work during his years with CTE. His personality, the trust in the company values and his philosophy that the ‘customer is king’ are principle factors that allowed himself and CTE to reach sales and business results well above expectations over the past 10 years. His new appointment will be a powerful incentive and example to our entire organisation, which I am sure will emphasise to our inner values of which Marco is a great leader!”
