Ahern Deutschland expands
Ahern Deutschland, the Snorkel and Xtreme Manufacturing distributor for Germany and Austria has appointed a new sales representative and realigned its sales territories into three.
Erik Forkel has joined the company as regional sales representative for North and East Germany from his base in Hannover. His appointment follows short spells with Neue, a company that carries out industrial process and component testing and Wiedemann & Reichhardt Maschinen und Fahrzeugbau, a drain and municipal equipment producer. Most of his career though has been spent in the crane business, with Tadano Faun. He joined the company in 2001 to look after sales of used cranes, and later became area sales manager for West and Southwest Germany. He left the company at the end of 2013.
