Kalmar RTGs for Egypt
Kalmar has sold four 41 tonne Kalmar E-One2 ’s - to Damietta Container & Cargo Handling Company, in Damietta, Egypt the first rubber-tyred gantry cranes that the company has sold in the country. Delivery will be later this year.

Kalmar will assume full responsibility for all maintenance activities at Norway’s Yilport Oslo Terminal
The diesel-electric powered E-One2’s lift seven + one wide containers with one over five high stacking and are intended to help cope with increasing transhipment at the Suez Canal of Northern Egypt. The contract also includes spare parts, operation training, and inspection services.

Mika Virtanen, vice president of RTG cranes at Kalmar said: "We are delighted to have gained this valuable order. As terminal operators gear up for higher container throughput, our cranes can deliver improved efficiency and cost reduction at various terminals around the globe."
