UK Powered Access adds vehicle mounts
UK Powered Access, a trading arm of UK Tool Hire has opened a new vehicle mounted platform division, and has taken delivery of its first 12 units, with more units on order.
The division will be managed by Michelle Oldham, supported by vehicle division foreman Tim Cooke and operator Dan Pearce. The initial fleet includes three 12.5 metre Versalift ETL36-F van mounts, on 3.5 tonne Ford Transits, and a mix of 20 metre Ram Gemini and 23 metre Palfinger booms, all on Nissan Cabstar chassis.

All units will be rented on a self-drive basis, although the company says that it can provide operators if and when required. IPAF training is available at its Nottingham training centre. UK Powered Access runs a fleet of over 260 self-propelled lifts from four depots in the English East Midlands area.
Managing director John Wilkinson said: “We would also like to mention the prompt service from Versalift, from order placement to delivery, we were kept up to date with the progression of the vehicles and they were delivered ahead of time. As we grow and expand our vehicle division we would definitely look to use Versalift again”.
