11 new Tadanos for JTC

Qatar based crane rental and transport company RJTC (Road Junction & Transport Company), a subsidiary of Kuwait based Jassim Transport & Stevedoring Kuwait has taken delivery of 11 new Tadano cranes.

The deal includes seven 80 tonne GR-800EX Rough Terrain cranes and more recently four 110 tonne ATF110G-5 All Terrains. The cranes were purchased through local Tadano distributor Qatar Tractor & Equipment - part of the Taleb group. The 110s are equipped with 52 metre booms which can be extended to a maximum tip height of 86 metres. The GR-800 has a 47.1 metre boom which can be extended to 64.4 metres with the swingaway extensions.

JTC chief executive Adel al-Kohari said:“We are doing business in one of the region’s fastest growing economy that in the past few years has witnessed some of the most massive investments in the construction industry. The Qatar market is rapidly investing in infrastructure growth in addition to drawing in investments from around the world. RJTC’s purchase of new cranes helps us to be hands-on to meet the increasing clientele demands.”
