Unic Cranes Europe has agreed a partnership with material handling and rental company DMP, part of the Groupe de Courcy.
To kick of the new partnership DMP has taken delivery of a four tonne Unic URW-547 spider crane on the French island of Reunion, in the Indian Ocean. The first Unic crane to operate on the island, it went straight to work, helping with the construction of electricity pylons.

DMP has taken delivery of a four tonne Unic URW-547 spider crane as part of the partnership
DMP has provided the Island of Reunion with lifting services since it was established in 1972, focusing primarily on the supply of forklifts for a wide range of applications, from dismantling sugar factories to the loading and unloading of boats.
Unic sales manager Jeanine De Cock said: “We are extremely pleased to have secured this partnership with DMP to provide the URW-547 spider crane for hire in Reunion. DMP is, like us, a family-run company which prides itself on quality of service and customer satisfaction, so it’s great to be working with them. We look forward to seeing how the crane will be used on future projects.”
