New eight tonne Maeda
Spider and mini crane manufacturer Maeda is to launch an all new eight tonne capacity spider crane - the MC815 at Bauma the week after next.
The MC815 is Maeda’s largest capacity spider crane to date and is equipped with a five section 19.4 metre pentagonal boom, plus an optional two section 1,500kg capacity telescopic jib, which increases the maximum lifting height to 25.5 metres. A 1,000kg all-new searcher hook is also available.

Other features include a new Technos 2 radio telemetry system with joystick controls, remote controlled auto levelling and auto crane stow, Maeda Safety Operation System (MSOS), and a new 10.4” multi-function touch-screen monitor.

The new Maeda 815 MC
The new crane also boasts a power lifting mode, a stage 3B compliant engine and pick & carry capacity of 1,000kg
Standard features include outrigger interlock device, two speed winch, hydrostatic transmission, data logger, 6/4/2 fall hook block, tilt sensor/alarm, hydraulic slew brake.
