Another Böcker in UK

Derbyshire, UK crane company Steve Foster Crane Hire has purchased a new Böcker aluminium boom truck mounted crane from distributor Kranlyft. The fully equipped AK44-4000 also has a rotatable access cage.

Steve Foster said: “Initially I couldn't really see a place for the crane with my customer base. However, we then had several jobs which the crane suited perfectly so cross-hired an AK44-4000 and this became a lot more frequent as our customer base saw this new type of crane. The crane was delivered earlier this month and has already started to earn its keep with regular work. It is a very flexible machine especially with the access basket which takes it to a completely different customer base. I am visiting Bauma with the intention to possibly order another one."

Steve Foster Crane Hire has purchased a new Böcker aluminium boom truck mounted crane from distributor Kranlyft.

UK Böcker distributor Kranlyft has championed the AK44-4000 over the last three years and it is the most popular Böcker crane in the UK. Production of the crane was due to cease with the introduction of the new AK46-6000 however Böcker has agreed to continue building both this crane and the AK42-4000 on a 15 tonne or 18 tonne carrier.

The new AK46-6000 will be on display at Bauma as well as the launch of a new Böcker crane.
