Cramo takes Telehandler specialist
Finnish international rental group Cramo has acquired the telehandler rental business of Kurottaja-ja Kuljetuspalvelu Parviainen.
Established in 2004, Parviainen operates mainly in Southern Finland, from a base in Mäntsälä to the north east of Helsinki. It had revenues last year of around €3 million and runs fixed frame models from six to 17 metres – mainly Dieci and Merlo – and also offers 360 degree telehandlers topped by a 35 metre Magni RTH350. The company also has a small fleet of trucks with PM loader cranes.
All 23 employees of Parviainen will transfer to Cramo with full seniority rights etc… Cramo has not previously offered larger telescopic handlers, but will now add a full range telehandler service -with or without operator – to its range of services.

Tatu Hauhio, managing director of Cramo Finland said: "Cramo started to offer worksite logistics services in Finland last year. We are currently strengthening this business and telescopic handler services are an important part of this offering and the service concept. We foresee this as a growing business area in which Cramo wants to be part of”.
The owner of Kurottaja- ja Kuljetuspalvelu Parviainen Juha Parviainen added: “From now on, we can act quickly and organise all needs of the construction industry from one phone number and under the same roof, so this makes us a full-service rental solutions provider. We can create profitable growth in the future by combining the resources of our companies”.
