Cranes and access for Russian aerospace

Russian satellite company Academician MF Reshetnev (JSC/ISS) /ISS-Reshetnev has taken delivery of 15 new JLG lifts and one new Valla 25E pick & carry crane.

The order included three 10 metre Toucan T10E mast booms

The order was placed through local distributor and rental company Vertex and comprises four 30ft 30 AMDCs push around mast lifts, three 12ft 12E mast type self-propelled lifts, a 32ft 3246ES and 19ft 1930ES slab scissor lifts, plus three 10 metre Toucan 10E and three 12 metre Toucan 12E mast booms and a 2.5 tonne Valla 25E battery electric powered pick & carry crane. This latest shipment joins two 45ft E450AJ electric self-propelled articulated booms delivered to the company in December.

The 3246ES, a Toucan T10E and a 30AMD

The units went straight to work on the construction of new satellite assembly and test buildings in Zheleznogorsk, Southern Russia, which is responsible for the production of the new Glonass-K satellite . Part of the country’s Glonass radio-based satellite navigation system. Developed by ISS Reshetnev which has specialised in the production of space communication devices for over 55 years.
