Kettering, UK-based CPL (Cumberland Platforms Ltd) has set up a new subsidiary company - CPL Fleet Services - and opened a new 650 square metre depot in Ipswich. The facility has been set up to carry out both commercial and non-commercial vehicle repairs as well as repairs to access and other equipment

CPL (Cumberland Platforms Ltd) has set up a new subsidiary company - CPL Fleet Services - and opened a new 7,000 sq ft depot in Ipswich.

Managing CPL Fleet Services is Steve Hood. “We have been asked many times over previous years to repair vehicles as well as the access equipment,” he said. “An opportunity arose and we decided to set up CPL Fleet Services in February.”

Managing director Paul Murphy added: “Steve has many years’ experience and will not only offer our customers a quality service but also be a great business partner. This new depot will allow us to take the service side of CPL to a new level along with branching out into another market. We will also be offering basic service packages to full fleet management if required.’’
