Big crawler crane order for Bragg
US based rental company Bragg Crane Service has purchased three big Liebherr crawlers, with a hand over ceremony held on the Liebherr stand.
The three cranes include two 750 tonne LR 1750/2 and one 600 tonne LR1600/2 the new cranes will be commissioned in the US between June and August.

The units have been supplied with ‘H boom kits’ for the LR 1600/2, and strengthened main and derrick booms on the LR 1750/2, so both will carry the suffix H for Heavy boom. The Heavy boom offers up to 30 percent increases over the LR 1750. The crane also features a hydraulic drive unit on the ballast wagon and improved platforms and access points for improved safety.
Chief executive Scott Bragg said: “The technical specifications of the cranes meet the demanding requirements of our markets. We are looking forward to continuing Bragg’s long lasting relationship with Liebherr.”
Bragg Crane Service, is based in Long Beach, California and operates from seven locations in the state, and one each in Nevada, Arizona, Utah, and Texas.
