John Bungay retires from PASMA

John Bungay, 63, has retired as vice chairman of PASMA, the association for mobile access towers, following his departure last year from Youngman, Gillian Rutter takes over the role.

Bungay joined Youngman in 1973 and held a number of senior positions over the years including chairman of Youngman Fork Truck Hire and a director of SGB International and SGB Services, when Youngman was part of SGB. From 1997 to 2002 he was managing director of SGB UK Sales, and from 2002 to 2005 managing director of SGB Youngman. In 2005 he was appointed business development director of the then independent Youngman group, which was acquired by Werner in 2014.

He left the company last year and formed a consulting business, Agendis Business Consultants. His involvement with PASMA spans more than 40 years, during which time, he contributed to the development and introduction of the EN 1004 standard for towers.

I wish the association, and my successor as vice chairman Gillian Rutter, continued success in the future.”
