GSR to open UK sales operation

Italian truck mounted platform manufacturer GSR has announced the opening of a UK sales operation in response to a recent uplift in sales performance, and to provide its UK customers with a local factory owned sales and support service.

The company was represented for many years by Skyking, which continues to provide after sales support. But with an increasing overlap with the Palfinger Italia range, GSR began looking after a handful of its major accounts direct last year, through Andy Northwood.

GSR product manager Piero Palmieri said: “GSR’s presence in the UK market goes back a long time, we felt it necessary to provide a more direct back-up to our key accounts and possibly extend it to all those potential customers that appreciate our brand.”

The official launch will occur at Vertikal Days, at Haydock Park next month.
