ALE opens in Italy
UK based lifting and heavy transport group ALE has opened a new branch in Milan, its first location in Italy.
The new location is part of an ongoing worldwide expansion and is intended to help the company target clients in the power, ports, civil, nuclear, offshore, renewables, oil, gas, and petrochemical industries with engineering, heavy transportation and lifting services.
ALE has over 30 branches worldwide with Milan its eleventh in Europe. Other locations include Poland, Norway, Germany, Russia, the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, France and two in the UK.
Alberto Pittaluga, is managing director of the new operation after having been general manager of the company's base in Iraq, where he worked on a number of major projects.
“We have been operating in Europe for many years. We wanted to set up a branch in Milan so we could focus on assisting the Italian industry working across countries where ALE executes heavy lifting and heavy transport activities. We have appointed a dedicated team led by Paolo Arfani who can utilise our global network of specialised experience and equipment to maximise the business development opportunities. This is an exciting time for ALE and we look forward to expanding our services to the Italian industry internationally,” said Pittaluga.
