Snorkel launches new boom
Snorkel has launched its new 46ft 460SJ telescopic boom lift at Hire 16 - the Australian show and convention organised jointly by the HRIA - Hire and Rental Association - and the EWPA - Elevating Work Platform Association - which is taking place on the Gold Coast, Queensland.

Snorkel has launched its new 16 metre working height 460SJ mid-size telescopic boom
The new boom lift is part of a new family of four telescopic boom lifts introduced by Snorkel this year which includes the 66ft 660SJ officially launched at Bauma.
The 16 metre working height 460SJ has an outreach of 12.2 metres with a maximum platform capacity of 272kg and features a two metre 135 degree articulated jib. The lift is also available without the jib as the 40ft 400S with a working height of 14.2 metres.
The 4x4 460SJ has the option of an oscillating axle and has a gradeability of 50 percent. Features include a new tri-entry removable platform with the Snorkel Guard secondary guarding system as standard.
