Another acquisition for Hewden

UK rental company Hewden has acquired the generator rental business of Firefly the hybrid generator manufacturer

The acquisition is intended to place Hewden at the forefront of the hybrid generator rental market in the UK with the widest product range. The acquisition will add generators, hybrid units, solar panels, distribution units, cables and lighting solutions. The new equipment is expected to strengthen the company’s position within the events sector which it has targeted for major growth this year through investment in event relevant products.
