Tadano AT recall
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has issued a recall for a total of seven Tadano All Terrain cranes over a braking issue. The recall affects four different models.
The recall of was initiated after it was found that a possible air hose fault could affect the crane’s braking and that a failure could occur should an air hose in the brake circuit dislodge from the fitting. The net effect could either jam the brakes on or decrease of brake performance while driving on the road. Both of which could cause an accident involving other vehicles.
The seven cranes were sold in New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia, they are: Four - ATF40G-2 serial no's 2040251, 2040252, 2040256, 2040269 and one each of the ATF70G-4 serial no. 2065102, ATF130G-5 serial no. 2146081and ATF400G-6 serial no. 2063144.
