First CMC replaced
Italian renal company Co.Mai has taken delivery of a new CMC truck mounted platform replacing the first CMC truck mounted platform ever built, a PLA16 which it purchased 18 years ago in 1998.
The new 16 metre CMC PLA 168 is mounted on a Nissan Cabstar chassis and offers 8.8 metres of outreach and 200kg platform capacity. With an overall stowed length of 5.5 metres, offers 360 degree continuous slew and 180 degree platform rotation.

“Giuseppe Maiullari, the owner of Co.Mai contacted us to change his platform,” said CMC sales manager Gaspare Caradonna. “You can imagine our surprise when we discovered that he had worked for the last 18 years with the first ever CMC platform we built in 1998.”
Immediately he decided that the first CMC Aerial Platform had to come back to CMC and will be prominently exhibited at the new CMC headquarters in Modugno, Italy.

Based in Altamira, South West Italy, Co.Mai runs a fleet of telehandlers, aerial work platforms, truck mounts and generators.
