Palfinger Platforms expands in Finland
Palfinger Platforms has appointed RealMachinery as its distributor in Finland and expanding its service network for aerial work platforms in Finland.
The recent acquisition of CarloMas provides four locations for sales and product support, along with additional mobile service engineers across the country. Palfinger hopes that the changes will help it increase market share as it pushes to achieve market leadership.
Rental company RealMachinery was founded in 2010 and has been rapidly developing its distribution business since acquiring Dae-Tek, the Doosan and Bobcat distributor last year. Product lines represented include Grove cranes and Bobcat telehandlers, while being a sub dealer for Haulotte.
Kaarlo Halinen the former general manager of CarloMas, has also been appointed as a specialist the access platform specialist. The company also plans to expand its cranes and access distribution efforts for the future. It is also planning to invest heavily in training and qualification for its employees and partners.
