Irish rental company Quinn Crane Hire has taken delivery of a new 130 tonne Terex Explorer 5500 All Terrain crane from Netherlands based used equipment and rental specialist Pfeifer.
Dutch rental company Pfeifer Rentals supplied the new five axle crane, on a long term rental contract. It was also the first time the company had supplied an Explorer 5500. The new crane features a 60 metre main boom, plus an 11 to 21 metre bi-fold swingaway extension which offsets up to 40 degrees. A 12 metre insert can also be used to extend that to 33 metres while Quinn’s new machine is also equipped with Terex’s IC-1 Plus touch screen control system with radio remote control for set up and rigging.
