Pasila train station will merge into the three block Tripla project
YIT Tripla construction director Pekka Luukkonen said: “Tripla is the largest construction site in Finland, the size of around 50 football fields with the total capacity of 10 Finnish Parliament Houses. In terms of traffic, the location of the site is very challenging, as over 900 trains travel through the Pasila station a day. Ramirent is an ideal partner for carrying out such a project which presents many challenges for transport and logistics arrangements, among other things, and with this partnership we wish to ensure that we can take on these challenges together.”
Ramirent vice president Mikael Kämpe added: “This partnership will provide an excellent opportunity to offer nearly all of our services on a single site, including equipment rental, equipment control systems, logistics planning and management, transport planning and control, scaffolding and weather covers. From planning, installation and implementation to cleanliness and dust management, chemicals management and training services. The management of occupational safety will be developed and implemented in collaboration with YIT.”
