New depot for Bryn Thomas

UK rental company Bryn Thomas Cranes has opened a new facility in Manchester, North West England.

The new depot, its fourth, will initially house eight of the company’s cranes with capacities ranging from 35 to 100 tonnes, including seven Liebherr All Terrains and one 60 metre Spierings SK1265-AT6 mobile self-erecting tower crane. Lifting support staff, transportation and service support vans will also operate from the Manchester facility.

Bryn Thomas has launched the new depot with a fleet of eight cranes

The new location will be managed by Gary Burke who has joined the company after 27 years with Ainscough Crane Hire, most recently as the Manchester depot manager. Bryn Thomas hopes to expand the new depot over the next two years doubling the Manchester fleet to 16 cranes.

The company said that it is continuing to invest in new cranes, and is expecting two new 40 tonne Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 two axle All Terrains in September.
